Adobe Launches Lightroom 2.0, DNG Converter and Camera Raw 4.5

After an open beta program, Adobe yesterday issued version 2.0 of its post-production photography software Photoshop Lightroom, which is the first application of the company to run natively on Apple's operating system, Mac OS X Leopard in 64-bit . Adobe has undertaken to produce 64-bit versions of Photoshop and other applications of its Creative Suite, but said before that these upgrades will take considerable time because of Apple's decision to eliminate the 64-bit version of its set of tools Carbon developer.
        

Problems by Spain in Energy Policy

The supreme court of Europe has announced that Spain has broken a law of the European Union to try to impede the takeover of the Spanish firm Endesa by a German company.

The court ruled that Spain broke EU competition rules by insisting that mergers in the energy sector should be preaprobadas by the government.

It is worth recalling that the German company, E. On, made a bid of 42.5 billion euros in February 2006 which was adopted by the European Commission, but the Spanish regulator placed 19 conditions on the offer, which was finally withdrawn in April 2007.
